History
Tadao Shinohara launches a private business selling paints and industrial chemicals in Shibuya-ward, Tokyo.
Shinohara Painting Products, an unlimited partnership company, is established in Asakusabashi, Taito-ward, with a paint-production factory in Higashi Komatsugawa, Edogawa-ward, also in Tokyo.
Shinohara Painting Products purchases a 3,000 m2 industrial land in Itabashi-ward, Tokyo, to build a new factory.
EDOGAWA CHEMICAL INDUSTRY, an unlimited partnership company, is formed.
The factory is licensed to use the Japan Industrial Standard (JIS) certification mark.
EDOGAWA CHEMICAL INDUSTRY is incorporated and renamed EDOGAWA GOSEI Co.,Ltd.
The EDOGAWA GOSEI headquarters building is established in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ward, Tokyo.
A new company building is built on the 1,500 m2 land adjoining the Itabashi factory.
EDOGAWA GOSEI develops and launches the primer:“EB”
